Hey Curvies!!!
I am so excited to bring you all another round of the “True to Blue” series. This series will featured creative ways to wear and style blue! In this series I styled a super cute blue fitted dress, created a look with a stunning denim dress, and a super cool look with denim cargos and shades of light blue. Let’s get into this stunning maxi dress!
I cannot lie I was scared of this maxi dress and had to mentally to prepare before even trying it on. Curvies, I am a cutout girly to my core, but this maxi dress has cutouts and a high thigh split. I have never in my 35 years have been a split girly. When I had a seamstress I would close all of my splits without a thought. Now that I do not have a seamstress I have to test my own fashion comfort zone limits.
Lets get into styling this maxi dress. in my mind I was going to wear some obnoxiously beautiful earrings accompanied with a super cute bangle stack. I also planned to wear a complementary handbag to my platform sandals. How about the day of the shoot I forgot everything but my shoes! LOL! I was too busy running to the party store for balloons to have it together. Luckily, my friend and photographer Kim came through with cute gold hoops and a statement bangle.
Style Notes: I am wearing a size 1x in this maxi dress. As mentioned I am not a split girly and ordered a size larger to close the split a little more. I am wearing a size 10 in these platform sandals and they are true to size.
